The Canon EOS C300, Canon’s first digital cinema camera, has released this upgraded version which now features DAF, or Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus. This technology was first featured in the EOS 70D digital SLR and is specially designed to give the fastest and most accurate focusing for cameras with large image sensors. Now filtered into Canon’s digital cinematography cameras, it adds the option of greater creative flexibility, particularly in everyday use and when quick reactions are needed.
